Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is urging School Governing bodies to play a greater supporting role.
JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng Education MEC, Matome Chiloane has dismissed claims that the latest death of a pupil in Soweto involves meals from the school nutrition programme.
Chiloane visited Thabisile Primary School in Diepkloof, following the passing of an eight-year-old Grade 2 pupil on Friday.

So far, more than 20 children have died across the country from chemical poisoning found in food.
